Outreach Project: A Recreational and Learning Center

Dear Bobmates and Friends,
Greetings!
Our next outreach project is a RECREATIONAL AND LEARNING CENTER for Lambakin Elementary School in Lambakin, Marilao, Bulacan. It is a small public school with only 13 classrooms, 13 teachers, and more than 600 pupils. The school has no library facilities. Hence, our project is to help the school start a RECREATIONAL AND LEARNING CENTER to aid the pupils in their learning. The school administrators will provide a spare room for this purpose.
We are seeking donations for the following items:
TV set
DVD/VCD player
Computer unit with CDs of educational topics i.e. solar system, animals etc.
Reference Books or encyclopedias (Note: 1 set will be donated by Bob’s friends)
Reference Books or encyclopedias (Note: 1 set will be donated by Bob’s friends)
Educational videos
Educational toys
Children’s story books
Posters of general information i.e. Presidents of the Philippines, Maps, Parts of the Body, etc.
Indoor board games i.e. chess, etc.
Flags
2 sets of mono block kiddie tables & chairs
2 ceiling fans
Venetian blind
Other items which may not be listed above, but which you feel may be useful and helpful to the children, will also be welcomed.
Thermos, plates, cups or oven toaster for the teachers’ use will also be much appreciated.
If you cannot donate any of the above items, cash will be welcomed to purchase some of the needed materials.
